The Return of Umro Ayar

Pakistan is a lucky country in many ways, and one of these is the fact that we have such great and classy writers around us. Be it seniors, adults or children, Alhamdulillah we are all gifted with a talent that can not only be used to educate others, but also this human mind can drift off into worlds of Fantasies that cannot be even imagined of in real life. 

Pakistan has produced so many great Urdu Novels in the past that have been popular amongst people of all ages. And one of those novels is Entitled "Umru Ayar", a story about  an ordinary man with an extraordinary mind. His journey encompasses his encounters with demons ghouls and goblins. Umro Ayar series comprises of 10 stories, all published around a couple of decades ago and were very popular especailly among kids because the stories involved Umro encountering all different kinds of evil and his journey was filled with excitement that would keep any one interested in reading fantasy stories hooked up to it.

Recently it has been announced that the classic story Umro Ayar is now being transformed into a comic book series and In Sha Allah pretty soon it wil be released for public. This step goes to show that how much should we respect the writers that we posses, who had the ability to grasp the reader's young mind and take it into a world that was as exciting as it was to be. Since we know that Kids do have a very highg imagination, therefore it is only fitting that seeing the old demons and goblins and witches return in the form of comic art will indeed revive not only Umro Ayar, but also other classic stories in the future as well.

I am personally looking forward to the release of this series. Although I used to read different comic books back in the old days, but seeing Umro wearing the comic outfit really is an exciting prospect and we all hope that the stories are going to be as exciting as they have been in our childhood.
